Purple = Job Done — Rinse Now
The lines are clean. Turn off the tap and let soak for 20 min, then rinse.
Cleaning Procedure
1
Pre-Rinse
Disconnect all beer kegs. Fill the cleaning tank with plain water and connect it. Open the taps and let water run through until it comes out clear.
2
Prepare CPQ Solution
Pull the safety ring on the tank to release pressure before opening. Add 10 litres of hot water and pour in 1 full CPQ sachet. Close the tank and shake gently until fully dissolved.
⚠ Release pressure before opening the tank
3
Circulate the Solution
Connect the CPQ tank and open the taps. The liquid will come out green — keep it flowing until it turns purple. Move each tap handle back and forth so the solution cleans the entire tap.
Move tap in all directions to clean the full system
4
Soak 20 Minutes
When the liquid turns purple, close the tap and stop. Leave the solution sitting in the lines for 20 minutes. Do not skip this — it is the most important part of the clean.
⏱ 20 min soak — do not skip
5
Final Rinse
Empty the tank and refill with clean water. Run it through the lines until the water comes out completely clear with no colour or smell. This removes all chemical residue.
6
Reconnect & Test
Reconnect the beer kegs. Pour and discard the first glass, then taste the second. If it tastes clean and normal, you are ready to serve.
Always discard the first glass after reconnecting
Additional Cleaning
🚰
Tap Faucets
Disassemble the tap head and soak all parts in CPQ. Scrub and rinse thoroughly. Prevents build-up and off-flavours.
🧹
Drip Trays
Remove and clean with warm soapy water daily. Deep clean with CPQ solution on every line cleaning session. Prevents mould and odours.
🪄
Tower Body
Wipe down the tap tower with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Pay attention to joints and crevices where mould and stains can develop.
